Dianne Hackborn – Google+ – How about some Android graphics true facts?

If you haven’t already, a worthwhile technical read into hardware graphics acceleration in Android, namely why it isn’t as simple as it sounds. If you’ve ever wondered why some apps in Android are silky smooth and some seem to run like molasses, then read through all the posts and you’ll definitely learn a thing or two.

First up, a post by +Dianne Hackborn, a software engineer from Google who works on the Android team, somebody who definitely knows her stuff. Presumably written to dispel some of the FUD surrounding the issue:
